SENSIA Solutions presents the GaSeS project on the The European Researchers’ Night

SENSIA’s scientific team participated in the event with hands-on demonstrations of SENSIA’s infrared camera for fugitive gas emissions imaging. Goal: to explain the scientific and technological ground on gas imaging.

The European Researchers’ Night is a scientific dissemination event that takes place simultaneously in 340 European cities since 2005. In this framework (coordinated by Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d within Community of Madrid), UC3M Science Park nominated SENSIA-Solutions for the “European Corner-Companies’ Researchers” at Espacio Fundación Telefónica on September 29th, in the heart of Madrid.

“European Corner” seeks to promote awareness about European Union’s research support programmes. Researchers from key companies involves in European R&D projects like AIRBUS, Glaxo and SENSIA were present.

SENSIA is a noteworthy case of European Commission H2020 SME Instrument Phase II. This highly competitive call wants to boost the growth of small and medium-size businesses, supporting the best projects. Over a 2MM business development plan, European Commission funds 1.3MM; overall objective is the large scale implantation of SENSIA’s infrared systems developed through GaSeS project.

SENSIA Solutions is an innovative SME, shareholdered by Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and roots in the Physics Department and research group LIR (Infrared Laboratory). Located in Leganés UC3M Science Park and supported by the Business Incubator, SENSIA infrared engineering expertise pursues to reduce fugitive gas emissions and contribute to a more secure, clean and efficient industrial production chain.
