SENSIA Inaugurates the new IR Radiometry, Calibration and Testing Lab

This Laboratory is equipped with the latest and most accurate technology. Thanks to this Lab, SENSIA extends the grade of accuracy and manufacturing rate. SENSIA Customer Success Services and R&D roadmap have been upgraded to the next level.

“This lab is an extension of the list of calibration and testing capabilities in the company and it responds to our commitment to deliver the highest grade of quality and accuracy to our customers”, declares Andrés Russu, COO of SENSIA.

SENSIA is the developer and manufacturer of RedLook solution based on AI Infrared Cameras which is the first-of-a-kind Infrared imaging technology for Smart Monitoring. RedLook is the most reliable technology for gas and flame in terms of detection probability, range, and false alarm rate. RedLook is extremely user friendly and cost effective.

RedLook is achieving beyond the trained human-eye, supervision for automatic gas and flame detection. We have a huge responsibility because every day new customers trust in our technology and we are protecting several sites and mitigating tons of fugitive methane emissions. That’s why we are forced to invest in organic growth”. Francisco Cortes, CEO.

Multifunctional Lab

IR Radiometry, Calibration and Testing Lab addresses different requirements for SENSIA services and R&D.

Thermography Calibration
  • Temperature Range: -20ºC to + 1200 ºC
  • Thermal Cameras Calibration rate: 25 cameras per day
  • Operating temperature range by climate chambers: -40ºC to +120 ºC
Gas & Flame Detection testing

This facility allows SENSIA the empirically determination of the detection limits, detection probability, range of detection and false alarm rate of our Gas & Flame cameras. We can control the following parameters:

  • DT gas-background
  • Gas mass flow rate
  • Gas concentration
  • Gas outlet diameter
  • False alarms sources
A strategic investment for an unprecedented business growing

SENSIA invested 1.2M€ in calibration and testing equipment and facilities.
