SENSIA attended Hannover Messe 2018 thanks to the SME Instrument H2020

A delegation from the company attended Europe’s largest industrial technology fair to establish collaborative networks in Industry 4.0’s state-of-the-art environment.

Invited by EASME’s Business Accelerator Services, SENSIA attended as an award-winning Phase II SME Instrument company for its GaSeS Project, which seeks to introduce a new paradigm on fugitive emissions mitigation on Oil & Gas and other industries through innovative Optical Gas Imaging.

The experience has proved to be very fruitful, identifying and strengthening ties with potential collaborators. Especially relevant was “Hannover Venture Summit”, where companies present their products and necessities. In this environment, informal but very interesting talks were held with Applied Nano Surfaces and others like Drone Hopper, all of them with interesting solutions.

During the “Technological and Business Cooperation Days”, SENSIA had various meetings of interests, mainly related to three different objectives:

  • To connect with companies working on the gas and oil sector as Fuelics from Greece and GasFill form UK.
  • To meet manufacturers of vacuum and pressure industrial systems, which can be a future market for SENSIA’s products as AGC Plasma from Belgium and Prevac from Poland.
  • The third purpose was to meet companies with products which can be use in company’s developments like RadiSurf form Denmark.

In addition, there was space for networking with companies dedicated to the same work scenarios, such as FLIR (USA) as IR camera manufacturer, Franhoffer (Germany) as IR detector manufacturer or Withthegrid (Netherlands) as gas product developer.

In short, two days full of activity to take the temperature of key sectors of interest. Thankful to the European Commission for this opportunity, SENSIA’s delegation came out spurred on and looking forward to coming back next year.
