SENSIA awarded with Phase II of European Union program H2020 SME Instrument

SENSIA’s project GaSeS: The first low cost optical gas imager for fugitive emissions mitigation, increasing energy efficiency in industry, has been recently notified by the European Commission as a selected winner of a Grant on the Horizon 2020 – SME Instrument Phase 2.

SENSIA ambition is to commercialize a low cost (price reduction of among 70-80% compared with current alternatives) uncooled camera based on infrared imaging technology that can easily detect and identify fugitive gas emissions in the Oil&Gas, chemical (SO2) and many other industries.

This project will have the support of key players on different sectors that share the conviction that infrared imaging devices (SMART LDAR) is the next technological trend.

GaSeS will mean an important step forward in the SMART LDAR field and thanks to the SME Instrument Phase II Grant, will start its larg-scale implantation.
