SENSIA’s project GaSeS: The first low cost optical gas imager for fugitive emissions mitigation, increasing energy efficiency in industry, has been recently notified by the European Commission as a selected winner of a Grant on the Horizon 2020 – SME Instrument Phase 2.
VIRA Gas Imging is a new corporation that brings together the know-how and experience of three big partners: ENAGÁS, SENSIA and UNIVERSIDAD CARLOS III (Madrid). As results of this industrial, technological and scientific merger, VIRA Gas Imaging offers technological solutions for gas detection in the Oil & Gas Industry by means of its own cameras (OGI) and customized specific solutions.
ENAGAS has awarded first prize to an idea in which SENSIA participates. The program rewards innovative initiatives and this year the winning idea focuses on the development of a low cost technology for multidetector flame and exhaust gas detection, following SENSIA developments.
SENSIA has succeeded in overcoming H2020 SME Instrument Phase 1. This European Program seeks to boost the best strategic plans of innovatives SMEs, thanks to which SENSIA will develop “First low cost handheld infrared camera for fugitive emissions, early detection and location, increasing energy efficiency in industrial plants, infrastructures and utilities” project.
